We have continued to listen to the podcasts of “Seeing White” by John Biewen. In “Little War of the Prairie,” we learned how the United States used corrupt practices to steal an enormous amount of Dakota land to make way for European settlers in what would become the state of Minnesota.
Next, we will discuss “That’s Not Us, So We’re Clean,” which looks at the tendency of whites to put more blame for slavery and discrimination on certain parts of the country. Find it here and join us on November 12, 2018 from 6:30-7:30 at Carnegie Public Library 322 S Wayne St. Angola, IN 46703 to discuss.
