Thank You and Happy Labor Day Weekend

There is a lot of talk about poor work conditions, unequal pay, and forced labor in the news lately with the prison strikes and other news stories. So, as we start our Labor Day weekends, we want to take time to celebrate all those who make the U.S. run. Paid and unpaid helpers, regardless of age, developmental and acquired disabilities, religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, indigenous heritage, national origin, and gender, are the backbone of our nation, and we thank you for making our ways of life possible.

To help our nation celebrate, I hope we can all find ways to help decrease the disparities in working conditions and pay that disproportionately affect minorities and others in positions of decreased power.
